Our Trip

Okay it's been a long time since I have posted. It started out that I was just too busy on vacation to post...but now it's just laziness! So we had a fantastic trip to New York. We went to visit my sister who lives on Staton Island, and my mom met us there as well. We drove up to Palmyra and were able to see all the Church History sites. That is something I have always wanted to do and it was truly amazing seeing where it all began! It really helped to strengthen my testimony. We also went to Niagra Falls...It was so beautiful but extremely cold!! Then on our last day we went into Manhattan and just walked around. There's just something about big cities that are so exciting! I wouldn't want to live in one forever but I think it would be fun for a couple of months. There is just so much to do and see...and I love seeing all the different types of people :) That night my mom watched Janey while Kevin and I went to see The Little Mermaid on Broadway! It was such an amazing date! I will admit that I was not that excited to see The Little Mermaid but afterwards had no regrets. It was an amazing show...and the things they did with the props and everything were amazing!! So if anyone is thinking about seeing The Little Mermaid...I highly recommend it! It was a great trip but after all that traveling I feel like I need another vacation...just the kind where you sit at home and do NOTHING! :)

Big News

Okay so the big day has finally arrived that we get to find out what we are having. Kevin thought we were going to have a girl and I felt like we were going to have a boy. Needless to say, my mothers intuition was correct this time and we are in fact having a BOY!! Guess we will have to buy some blue since all we have had in our house is PINK! I am definately a pink girl so this will take some getting used to for me, but I am very excited :) The Doctor said that everything looked great and that he is right on track. We are very thankful to be so blessed

Snow in March?

I can't believe that it is actually snowing...I have been looking out the window and watching the snow fall all morning long. You may think that I am crazy...but I am actually enjoying it and finding it pretty refreshing compared to the rain we always get! Janey was pretty enthralled with it as well...she sat mesmerized during breakfast just staring out the window (she has rarely seen snow fall from the sky!) I tried to teach her how to say snow, but all it comes out as is "Oh"...I thought it was pretty cute :)
And what is it about snow that makes me want to bake and have a nice comforting warm snack? Does anyone else feel this way? Maybe it's that I feel like it's Christmas, and you can't have Christmas without yummy food! Anyways enough of my going on about nothing...hope you are all enjoying the snow as much as I am!

Am I losing my mind?

Okay, so yesterday I had some tacos for lunch and I put some sour cream on them. Later last night as I was going to put something in the microwave what do you think I found? That's right...the sour cream container. How I got the fridge and microwave mixed up I have no idea. Thats not the only time its happened to me this past week...earlier I also found myself trying to put ice cream back into our cupboard...luckily I caught myself on that one, that could have been disastrous! Seriously though...I think I am losing my mind

I think Kevin is Pregnant!

The other night Kevin and I were laying in bed, and all of the sudden he has this sudden craving for a cream soda. He kept talking about it...I thought that I was going to have to do a middle of the night craving run for him! Speaking of craving runs...Kevin keeps telling me that he wants to do one for me sometime, last week he got the chance! I am sitting on the couch watching American Idol (I am totally addicted...never thought that would happen!) anyways all of the sudden I get this craving for a Jr bacon cheese and fries....I couldn't get it off my mind. So Kevin being the wonderful husband that he is took off to get me my food (secretly he couldn't get it off his mind either after I mentioned it :) Thanks Kevin for having cravings with me!!

Bigger than she thinks

So I was talking to my friend Crystal and she was getting on my case since I haven't updated my blog...so thanks Crystal for helping me keep my new years goal.

Here are some funny pictures of Janey thinking that she is smaller than she really is. I was on the phone talking to my mom and I turned around to find that Janey had somehow crammed herself into this tiny little basket and was reading car ads. It was so funny, all I could do was laugh and take pictures. This isn't the first time that has happened though. She has also tried to jam herself into tupperware, and other small baskets and boxes. She's a silly girl alright!
